Lost phone, bought new one. Can I use same Windows Live acct?

I lost my Lumia 800 and it was set with my Windows Live account. It was not locked, so the person that found it can see my files, my apps ...

I just bougth a new Lumia 800. Thinking about safety, can I use the same Windows Live account? Or should I create another one?

You can. Can't you just have the phone reported stolen so that the carrier can deactivate it or something along those lines.

Also, change your Live password. That will make accessing some of the information on the lost phone more difficult.

Already did. But I heard that someone can change the IMEI number in order to make the phone work again.

First thing I did. Changed all passwords.

So now I'll use all the current user ids with new passwords and connect the phone to Zune.
