I called HTC and they "confirmed" the following is true:

4G Network

LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2600 - EMEA
LTE 700 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 - Asia
LTE 700 / 1700 / 2100 - T-Mobile
LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 - AT&T

Can anyone independently confirm this?

That matches spec GSMarena has had posted for some time: HTC One (M8) for Windows - Full phone specifications

Also on AT&T's site they state LTE Bands 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 17 HTC One (M8) for Windows?now with Cortana, your personal digital assistant

AT&T in the US uses primarily Band 4 @ 1700 MHz, but supplements on Band 2 @ 1900 and Band 17 @ 700 MHz. Global roaming is enabled via the other Bands (3/5/7) for fairly complete world capability.

Great to hear...thanks! I couldn't find the specs on the AT&T website when I looked earlier. I see now that I didn't scroll down far enough.

At&t should only support theirself band, other band should be locked. For Verizon M8, had locked 1800mhz by Version. But checked with htc, M8 office support 1800mhz.
