LTE Problems On Canadian Provider Fido

I have a Lumia 635 which connects at LTE everywhere except where I work. Outside the building I get LTE, inside I get E (EGPRS) which connects at 236.8 kbps. I have a Samsung cell on a different provider that connects at LTE in the building with download speed of 35 mbs. Is this problem due to the frequencies Fido uses or is something wrong with the phone. I do not get 3g, 2g or H or H+ connections. It is either LTE or E.

It could be the provider. Depending on what type of building you're in and where you sit can have an impact on the reception your receive. The frequency band is another factor in this as well.

Most modern buildings as mostly metal making them a virtual Faraday cage and unless you have a mobile service antenna sitting on top of the building or close by. So it's possible that Fido doesn't have an antenna close by which is why your signal drops inside the building whereas the other provider could be closer or on a building nearby (depending on where you work).
