Guys met a guy working for microsoft, I asked him y nokia phones are released soo late in india, he said this time lumia 1520 will be released sooner, by nov end.Lets wait and watch. Me planning to get 1520 to replace my note 2

Same here I called them up 20 times, my expected dispatch date was 25 oct still not dispatched. Iam really irritated, they said wait till today if not dispatched call back again

Guys iam really disappointed with indiatimes, today I called them again, that guy said they were sorry that the product has not shipped and I have an option to cancel it .normally I used to never wait soo much to get a new phone , but this time I thought I would be patient, I was saving 2k shopping with india times , but after wating 2 weeks and not getting my phone iam really sad. All my excitement of owning 1020 is gone down. I thought saving of 2k I would get nokia wireless charger. Now iam cancelling my order and going get the phone from a store... 1st time a shopped from indiatimes and iam very disappointed. I shop from china websites and their products reach me on time. Now iam worried how long will my refund take. Now I have to put extra cash to buy new 1020 . Hope my 2nd lumia makes me happy. I gave my 1st one to my brother

Indiatimes is the worst site to order from,if your lucky you will get the product delivered on time.
But 70% of the time you wont get it delivered.

BTW how much you got 1020 for now?
Whats the current cost going on, me buying on 1st Nov or 2nd Nov.

Guys to my surprise I received my refund from indiatimes in just 2 days. Heard many bad reviews for refund also. But my mind is already dented . Will never order from indiatimes. Thou enjoying my lumia 1020. I wanted to ask does windows have saying caller's name during an incoming call feature like symbian ? Thanx guys

It is in accessibility settings.

Settings> ease of access> Speech for phone accessibility

Just updated my Lumia 1020 to the latest firmware in India
just tried checking for any updates available and the update was prompted, took 15 mins I guess to update the phone and migrate the data. (FAST WIFI SPEEDS)

Current Firmware is 3050.000.1338.1002

i have a Matt White 1020, i dunno what are you toking about speech for phone, you can change the phone region settings or so to US and try restarting the phone.
