Lumia 1020 stuck on headset mode, what should I do?

Lumia 1020 Stuck On Headset Mode

Since updating to DENIM my second mic stopped working. Cortana couldn't hear me, no audio in videos, cant do voice messages. I searched these forums and saw that many people had this issue. Alot of them sent their phones back to get the issue fixed. I don't have that luxury. (Im in the Caribbean. No MS stores) i also read that DENIM broke the mic compatibility somehow. One member i spoke to replaced his audio part and got his working. I decided to do the same. I installed the new mic. Now my phone is stuck on "headset mode". I've tried a reset (both buttom combination and through settings)
I need some assistance. How can i get this phone off headset mode?

Edit: The old part is giving the same issue after I reinstalled it.

Solved! Not sure how but....( do this at your own risk! I take NO RESPONSIBILITY!!!)
I took apart the entire device. Cleaned everything with a "soft" toothbrush; which i dipped SLIGHTLY in some electrical spray. (The one for electronics and anti rusting....and gave each component a gentle clean including the ribbon connectors....not the ribbon itself! Pulled the copper prongs a bit off the headset jack. ( They seem "stuck in" probably making the phone "think" a headset was still in the jack...and carefully reassembled the device making sure all screws were tightened.
Not my phone seems speedier and battery is lasting longer. Don't know if it's connected to what I did.
