I'm going to call this one extremely doubtful. The 1020s were very niche phones and releasing a 1050 would fall into that category and go against the stated strategy of the company. What's more likely is a Lumia 650 which has been reported on by Dan around that same time frame.

The Lumia 1050's rear camera is rumored to have a zoom lens, a variable aperture and optical image stabilization along with autofocus features. Although it is believed to feature a more intricate and better rear camera, one drawback is the missing front camera that nearly all the latest smartphones have today.

Total nonsense. But did you hear about the Lumia 1070 which is going to have a full-frame sensor, 9-400mm focal length, and f/1.7 aperture?!

(Hopefully it doesn't need to be explicitly stated, but that was sarcasm. It's about as likely as the article's rumored 1050 though.)

Also, I am just totally shocked that the source links either: don't exist or instead loop back onto other completely shady looking sources. If you follow the sources back to the JBHnews page, that one links to a page that is purportedly about the 1050, but instead is a GSMarena post about the 1520. It's the kind of completely baseless speculation that people somehow fall for every time... like for example 6 months ago when everyone was claiming to know Surface Phone's exact specs.
