Lumia 1520.3 update on WDRT?

I'm running the latest build of Windows 10 on production ring; 10586.137. I plugged in my Lumia out of curiosity, and got this:

Currently: Firmware 02540.00019.15053.26003 and OS: 10586.13090

Server: 02540.00019.15236.45004 and OS: 9651.14234

Is this truly an update? I see the FW is higher, but the OS is lower. It sounds like to be up to date I'd have to update via WDRT and then update back to the production ring? I just fear losing all my personal data. Thanks!

The firmware was released in Jan as a pre WM10 update. The OS is still WP8.1 Update 1. You'll have to perform a clean install from WDRT to install it and then install the official WM10 build.

Ahh, okay! I wonder if it's worth resetting for. Any chance I can just update to it when the WDRT officially releases 10 for my device? Thank you.

Reach out to ambassador team lead RumoredNow. He did update his 1520.3 so he might be able to answer your specific questions. Regardless, firmware updates are always sweet
