Lumia 1520 Double Tap to turn off in 8.1?

Is it just me but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere a while ago that there would be the ability in 8.1 to double tap to turn off the screen on the Lumia 1520?
Did I just imagine this or is it something they've decided not to proceed with?

If you install an app called Lock Screen you can turn the screen off with one tap.

Yes I read this too. I'm guessing that once 8.1 is released to manufacturers we will see it.

I use Lock Screen, which turns off the screen but not the whole phone.

That feature will arrive with the Lumia cyan firmware update.
