Lumia 1520 gaming problems

I've been experiencing stutters on my Fifa 14 on 1520 post wp8.1. Angry birds go doesn't have music playing on the background anymore. Even temple run 2 stutters.

Does anyone know how I can solve this? Is my device defective? Modern combat 4 plays beautifully on my phone. So does Nova 3. So this problem is really confusing

I used the 1520 with wp8 for only one day so I don't know if this is cause of the update.

maybe the apps are on ur sd card by mistake
though i did notice, my 720 sometimes has the issues u described with asphalt 8(running off my 32gb class 4 sd card) but its fine on internal mem

Hard reset your phone, I was experiencing same problems on my 520 after wp8.1 update.. I hard reseted my device and now everything is working smooth and perfect.

One more thing, also makes sure that your SD card is class 6 or above, as games installed on lower class cards suffer from problems..

Thanks. I will do just that. The games aren't on my SD card. They are on the device

I don't have an SD card. The phones memory is 32 GB so I haven't found the need for a card yet

depends on the data u want backed up
contacts for sure will get backed up

Yes most settings, the start screen, installed apps, subscribed podcasts, any apps the have elected to allow their data to be saved, and more are backed up an restored. I'd do a manual backup of text messages and apps from the settings menu before hitting reset

Having the same issues, even the start screen transition animations stutter sometimes.
