Nokia Revolution site is just published a sample night video of Lumia 1520 - it looks good (not grainy at all):

It is taken at 9 PM in Philippines (a mall of Asia). It is very dark on that time there ....

If you look closely, They have a grain all over the place. Only the dark covers it.

Does anyone know if there has been any efforts on the software front to improve the low light video performance since this last reply? I would hope that there would be something coming along with Windows Phone 8.1 and the Nokia "Blue" update...

Also, have you guys checked out this review of the 1520 video camera by an amateur cinematographer? I thought it was nice to see how a skilled videographer uses the video camera - much better than most amateur test clips that are out there.
