Lumia 1520 - Windows 10

I have my Lumia 1520 right now and I'm thinking of updating it to Windows 10 through Insider. I would like to get all your opinions on this one. Is it good? Is it worth upgrading now? What are the bugs you encountered? Should I go with Slow or Fast ring?

I currently have a RM937 Lumia 1520 and it's my primary phone.

Regardless, be prepared to use the Recovery Tool and/or hard reset your phone in the event it becomes necessary.

TL;DR - have an escape plan

I do have the recovery tool installed on my computer now, ready anytime. Any idea how big Windows 10 is? So I'll get an idea how long it could download.

I would expect it to be at least several hundred MB.

when I updated to 10 it took me like 4 hours to finish all the updates coming from 8.1, might as well have been the speed of my internet

Question, do you know if the 1520 will get the WP10 updates as soon as they come out or will be other, newer devices like the 640 or 640 XL will be benefitted first from that. Does anyone know ?

I remember something saying the 640 and 640 XL would be among the first in line.

Although I'm not sure I'd make my decision based on that with the Insider program and all.

So even with Windows Phone updates come timed and delayed, depending on Device. Feels like Android. Too bad. Although I am a real Anti-APPLE-Fan, but I really like that when there is an update, they get it then and not later. At least as far as I know. Really hoped that with WP updates are guaranteed and as soon as the new Update is available.
