Lumia 435 vs 635

I have the 635, but I can change it with my friends phone(435), because my friend need bigger screen. What is better? And what it will be with more speed and support for updates?

I have both phones. Surprisingly the 435 seems to work at around the same speed as the 635 even though it doesn't have LTE. I enjoy the 435 more because it's easy for one handed operation at 4 inches. Both solid low end phones! If only 435 had Nokia black and a flash. Dare I ask for glance too? I'd pay double for those features at this size screen!

435 has 1gb ram so apps and games are not a problem. 635 only 512mb ram so some apps and nearly all high end games are not available. I have both, 635 is much better in all other areas.

I like the 435 for 1 GB ram, front facing camera, and better support for updates because they have 1 GB of ram and its Microsoft phone. Lumia 635 it's better because better processor, better camera and biggest screen.

Why not 535?

Just grab it last week. It has Windows 8.1 update 1 preinstalled. Bit sensitive out of the box but suddenly ask for firmware update which fixes it.

635 is a much better phone all around expect for the ram. But for future apps and games and w10mobile 435 has the advantage. If you need bigger display, better camera, and don't want to play high end games then 635. Else 435 is the way to go I say.

I'd get the Lumia 435 if you care more about the long term. With 1gb of ram Windows 10 mobile will likely run better on the Lumia 435 and it will have greater access to games/apps.
If you want a better phone in the short term, keep the Lumia 635.

635 is much better, 2mpx camera pass!..id rather 5mpx camera and 4G is a big plus for browsing and apps. Not many apps need 1gig unless your a huge gamer! 635 is also thinner and has clear black display ,and better processor. The 435 is very washed out colors. 512 Ram runs fine on windows phones anyhow. And 4.5 is sweet spot for size imho, 4 is just a bit to small to see. Oh and 1 more thing build I like Nokia , the 435 is a bit plastic feel toy imo.

A lot of us are running the preview W10M on 635's. I'm not sure the 512 is going to allow it to operate as smoothly as a 1G phone. I think the next build should give us a better idea.

For me, I'll probably go back to 8.1 update 2 on my 635, it runs that flawlessly. And put W10M on my 640.

The only advantage the 435 has over the 635 is the 1G. Other than that the 635 is a much better phone.
