hello id like to ask a few questions about my phone.
If i create a back up on my phone will the data pictures and music and apps on my sd card be backed up aswell?
If i hard reset my phone will my sd card in the phone get formatted?
If i am going to hard reset my phone will i have to remove my sd card before i reset it?

Pic and music will not be back up. While reset your phone will ask whether you want to erase Data on sd card also or not. If u select no, sd card will be untouched

pictures and other media will not be backed up.

However, typically pictures and videos could be uploaded to OneDrive by default and can be manually loaded onto your phone.
However its best to backup music and videos manually via a computer.

Apps are redownloaded when restored from a backup, and whether the data itself is backed up varies.

I don't know about the entire SD card, but consider apps on that are treated like apps on the phone itself.
