Lumia 520 No Display on the Screen, why?

Hi, i have a lumia 520 that boots quite ok but does not show anything on the screen. the screen is completely blank (Black). When a sim card is inserted calls can be received, but i cant read text or make calls coz there is nothing to see. At first i thought it was the screen, did a couple of replacements but to no avail. what could be the problem? Anybody with an answer?

how long have you had the phone? Did you take it to a service centre for repair?
