So the new Lumia 535 got announced and for nearly 140$ you get:

5" qHD IPS LCD display with 220ppi
Gorilla Glass 3 !!!
5mp autofocus, f2.4 aperture 1/4 sensor sized back facing camera with flash.
5mp front facing camera also f2.4 aperture fixed wide angled !
8gb of storage with expandable storage option
It has two version dual sim and single (both 3g only)
It uses a micro sim and not a nano sim.
it features BT 4.0 too.
it weighs 146g and measures its 8.8mm thin.
the phone doesn't offer a camera shutter key nor capacitive Windows, back and search keys.
It has a 1905 mAh removable battery
It features proximity and light sensors.
it has double tap to wake but not a mention of glance
It has a specifically created flip cover though no words if it's interactive like the dot view or at least unlocks the phone or not...

I think its more of a slap for the 630 and the 530 if you ask me but all in all the package looks good lets see the quality of the actual phone when it hits.

I think this phone will make a very good cheap phone. It doesn't compromise anything since it has ffc, flash, and 1gb ram. I'd recommend this phone to anyone who wants a budget device.

Excellent, this is exactly what was needed to increase WPs market share.
A good phone at a cheap price.
It'll be selling like hot cup cakes. I know this phone would be a slap to 630/530, but in my country 530/630 are already a huge success, so its sales doesn't bother me anymore.
Anyways I'll be eager go get my hands on this phone.

I don't think you have regret a lot. 630 has a better gpu and processor. Ya!! You can cry for ram, camera and size. If it matters for your mother

Video recording should have been at least 720p,FWVGA (848 x 480) is a downer.since its a budget phone they must have skipped Clear Black.But i think in markets like India it will be highly successful.
