Lumia 640 XL running W10M Preview Buid 10512

I downloaded preview build 10512 the first night it was released and everything seemed to be working great. About a week ago I noticed my phone was running slower than before and now it seems to struggle switching between open apps or even open apps like Messaging and Maps. Not only are the apps opening or resuming slowly, but apps crash multiple times each day. My phone does not run hot, so it is clearly not overheating. I a limit the number of background apps running to just a couple at a time. I did a reset on my phone because that helped tremendously when I upgraded my PC to W10. Is anyone else experiencing these issues? Does anyone know of a proper solution?

Be careful not to enable the battery saver on Windows Phone 10. Its not friendly by any stretch.

I haven't had any need for battery saver, thankfully, due to the 640 XL's generous battery life, but that is a good hint to avoid.

Seriously now, I don't see anything weird under battery saver mode.
I have it set to turn on automatically at 10%,
now I can't tell if it is actually doing anything (because build 10512 is a battery endurance champ), but I pretty much love the leaf on the battry icon


At OP's problem:

I'm running build 10512 on my daily-D lumia 730 for 20 days (because I had a bad install when it first day it was released)
and everything is perfectly normal.. well, for a preview build atleast.

Just wait for the moment because it is a strong possibility that we might have a new build by the end of this week..
And if not, it will be available soon™
