Lumia 640XL DATA CABLES

Can anyone recommend a good data cable that fits the phones charging port well as many of the cheaper ones are a poorly fit?

Anyone know why the bright designer sparks at Microsoft decided to use a fixed lead on the charger instead of a usb port with removable charger lead that can double as a data cable?

1. Any microUSB cable of good quality should suffice for you. (literally any, I've used cables from Palm phones, Lumias, Samsung phones, generic ones that worked well, some by Belkin... interchangeably with everything)

2. The fixed cable was probably a cost cutting measure as it's something we tend to see on more value-oriented devices. (e.g. the 521, 640...)

I cant see any point in a fixed lead to be honest as the manufacturing cost difference must be very little if anything

instead of building in the USB connectors on both the brick and the cable you can just connect it directly and probably save a dollar, and at a large scale it can make a difference.
