Lumia 649 XL will not update

Phone has been working fine.

This morning after getting the desktop update to 586 I decided to check for phone updates.

I go into Settings / Update and Security / and tap Phone update and it gets highlighted but nothing happens.

Multiple taps don't help.

Have to just give up and go back to the main screen.

No problem before this morning.

Any ideas on what the problem is and how to cure it?

I take it you are running build 10581.
Have you tried a soft reset? (Volume down + power button until phone goes off/reboots)
Then try again.

That fixed it.

I had tried it earlier but didn't hold one of the buttons down long enough so the soft reset didn't work.
