In settings > system > battery: can you check which apps or services use the most battery?
In settings > privacy > background apps: check which apps can run in the background and disable those you don't need. Leave messaging on as that is needed for sms notifications
In camera roll, disable auto upload of videos and if you want auto upload of photos to onedrive
In messaging, unlink skype so that usage is less
In mail, try a longer period for checking emails, not every 5 minutes but maybe 30 minutes.
Use wifi/cellular when you need to and not always on
In store, you can disable auto update of apps so that you only update when you want to and where you can monitor usage
Try these for now and then observe for a couple of days
For me, the battery lasts for around 20 hrs... And around 6-7 hrs of heavy usage...
I always keep the sim network to 2G or 3G... 4G drains the battery of my L650 like hell...
Again, check the background apps and uploading of the photos to Onedrive... Check if turning off glance helps. I won't recommend turning it off because it is one of the cool features of Lumia one would be missing...
Also I have noticed that the battery life has reduced since I have installed the Redstone insider build... If your phone has insider build then try reverting back.
can you give us more details please? you bought ur new phone? still the updates going on? did u study if this is repeating after 2 3 charges ? precise information can help us guide you through this. cheers
