Lumia 650, Windows Maps app will not install and many other probs. Any help?

Lumia 650, Windows Maps app will not install and many other probs.

Lumia 650, looks cool but slow and buggy.
In particular my cherished Here Drive+ app (paid for) will not now work under windows phone 10 - which leaves just one navigation app: Microsoft Windows Maps which should already be installed on my new phone, but it seems to be 'half installed'.
When updating get 'something went wrong' error 0x80240024. Phone has been hard-reset several times, no good.
Have no nav app at all now, nothing seems to work, many other issues under Windows phone 10, nowhere to turn for help.
Been a Windows Phone fan for over 3 years, my old Nokia phones were great, but maybe it's time to give up now!

same for me. i have the gmaps app as a backup, but hopefully the issue is resolved. in the past this has been some sort of server problem, and has eventually cleared/been resolved. hopefully it is the same in this case

Did you update all your apps after you signed in ? Is the phone running with the latest official OS update ?

Make sure all your apps are up to date and you are running the latest OS update.
Did this on my 550 and it runs smoothly. Give that a try.
