Lumia 735 to GDR2 Possible?

Hi i recently bought a L735 with Denim and wanted to know if it is possible to update to GDR2? I tried to upgrade via Windows Insider (fast ring) but it takes the device to W10 10080 which is too buggy for now. Anyone know how to update..

What's you firmware version? Lumia Denim on the 730/735 has 2 versions, the later version should enable Update 2

I have 8.10.14219.341 as OS (Belgium) version there seem to be a couple of countries which can upgrade to GDR2 an some not, i want to flash another country version if i am sure i can get GDR2.

The firmware/OS version you have is lower than what's needed for Update 2. For example if look the Denim OS version for Austrian 735 its listed as 8.10.14234.375 with Firmware version 02040.00021.15063.02002. This is a higher OS version than what you have, I am not sure what new features it brings but it definitely enables Update 2 via Windows Insider. You could either wait for MS to release the OS/firmware update for the Belgium variant so you can get Update 2 via Windows Insider or flash to a ROM w/ that version. Again if you do not know how to flash ROMs and stuff I would suggest not doing it.

Thanks, i went to check on the update page of MS after my last post and indeed i have a lower version im already downloading the France CV with the higher version and will flash when finished, will update here what the results and steps where if i succeed.

So yesterday after dowloading and flashing the French CV, i went on and installed the Windows Insider app and immediatly got a notification that GDR2 was available, after installation i performed a hard reset so W10 preview would not install. All in all very happy to have GDR2 on the 735!

I have the exact same OS: 8.10.14219.341 presently on my AT&T Branded Lumia 920..Unfortunately I can't flash to another CV version of L-920, because AT&T has built in protection/parameter code that prevents it from being 'tampered with'..lol! So I am (still patiently awaiting) the L-920's upgrade to Denim..and jf it matches the recently updated L-1020 Denim OS version: 8.10.14234.375, I should also be 'good-to-go' for 8.1.2 GDR2..(keeping fingers crossed...lol!)
