I fell asleep one night with my phone on the table. When I woke up to turn it on, it didn't. No problem, I thought it was just dead. When I plugged it in, I felt a vibrate that lasted a full second, then another 2 seconds after that, which lasted around half a second.

*Not my video, but this is my problem in video. And make sure you turn on the sound to listen*

youtube. com/watch?v=wBdLFcPz67w (Manually put it together, since i can't post links yet)

- I've tried all the fixes I could find, leaving it charged for 30 minutes, unplugging it, and holding volume down and power, This is the most common fix, and it didn't work for me

- Heat it up to give the battery a small boost

- Power button and camera button.

- Charging the phone into an outlet or different cables

- Taking out the sim card and tried all the above

None of these worked. If someone could help me out here, I would greatly appreciate it!

Follow this link.

Well I just realized something, I can't do the flash because my phone won't turn on -.-

My Zune wont detect the phone what so ever, it goes into an infinite loop of vibrating twice every 20 seconds ish

And volume down & power never work

The link I provided will work just fine. I had to flash my L800 and worked without a hitch.

Too bad all those with attention to detail to point out he has 7.8 didn't use their attention to detail and read beyond the title of the link. As far as flashing is concerned 7.8 is not much different from 8.

Do NOT follow sleeve22's instructions. They are for Windows Phone 8. The Lumia 800 is WP7.8

Try following these instruction to reflash your phone:

Yes, you will lose everything on the phone but then again, you have been using Zune to regularly backup your phone haven't you?!

Otherwise you have a nice new paperweight

Hey, thanks for the reply and the advice! Sadly, navifirm won't work since you have to donate money to use their product, and I'm not all for spending money on something that I don't even know if it's going to work :p

Another thing, I don't think this will work since my phone can't be detected, like it said, once I plug it into any charging source, it will simple vibrate twice every 20 seconds, and it will do this for hours and hours. I've left it for 18 hours, came back and it was still vibrating the long buzz, and then the short buzz. The phone simply isn't being detected by anything since it can't be turned on, will this still work?

I might just buy a 720 off of ebay or amazon, this is too much of a hassle, and i'm kind of sick of 7.8, thanks everyone for trying to help though
