Lumia 830 screen sensitivity issue

My L830 has an issue where it registers swipes as taps! It happens a lot in Internet Explorer, but at other times as well. I end up opening a lot of banner ads.

Does anyone have this/know how to solve it? I've already switched off high-sensitivity...

This has happened with my L1020, but the cause was having too much oil and fingerprints on the screen. Try making sure that the screen is clean and observe the results.

Glad you fixed it. Only Lumia I've ever had that issue with was the 1520. Then again, so did everyone else -_-
