Lumia 850 leaks, No WC news though.

This is the second time now that NPU has posted news about a Lumia mid ranger being imported into India for testing purposes. Also doing the rounds is news of device RM-1182 being certified in China and Indonesia. WC hasn't touched upon such a possible device being in the works after strongly pointing out that the Lumia 650 was the last Lumia. The rumours keep pouring in. After all having obtained news about three versions of the Surface Phone being readied, WC would surely know about such a mid-ranger in the works right? Just desperate for a mid range windows phone, that's all and cannot make up my mind on whether to go with the 650 or wait it out for this mystery device. Any advice would be appreciated. After all having a new device to go with RS1 update wouldn't be such a bad idea.

I got a 650, very nice phone. Screen and Cameras are spectacular

Windows Central only picks up news about true events. If someone posts about an article, such as the Lumia 850 being worked on, and Windows Central doesn't say anything about it, then someone made a click-bait article and Windows Central isn't about those kind of stories.

There has always been demand, but no supply, one of the reasons for low market share

Given Microsoft's sales figures and them wanting to get rid of the extra 950xl/950 inventory, I'm not sure they would go ahead with this. The only reason they may is to put out a phone that works on Verizon as well as all other carriers. But the general consensus is that it was canceled and people are just trying to get hits on their news sites by reviving rumors.
