Lumia 920 LCD - broken connector cable

I was trying to replace a damaged digitizer but accidentally broke the LCD display's connector since I forgot to disassemble the connector from the mother board.

Is it possible to buy the connector cable and use the current LCD display or do I have to buy a new display?
Is it a big difference between generic LCD displays and original Nokia displays?

AFAIK you'll have to buy a new display for that & I doubt you'll only get a connector cable in Market..
Generic displays are cheap but bad in terms of viewing Angles, Sunlight Readability & etc. So in my opinion it's better to have Originals rather than Generic.
Also, it's again up to you what you choose.

It's not easy to trust random Chinese sellers on ebay and alibabaexpress
