Lumia 920 post GDR3 update

I used to struggle A LOT to connect facebook chat with messages hub, but after the update, it's working like a charm and didn't ''fail'' anytime..

before the update, I was only able to make it work during 3 days, then it crashed and I wasn't able to make it work again, and voila! it has comeback to life after the update

So after the new update today, none of my apps are working. None that weren't pre-installed onto the phone. I have tried resetting it and everything, really not sure what to do and if anyone else was having this problem?

It seems like there was some bug where data migrating step was skipped on some devices. Basically the icons are there but the apps aren't. You need to reinstall all the apps unfortunately

Just add any new keyboard layout and soft reset the phone. After restart migrating data will be continues.

Adding a new keyboard does take 10-15 mins before it starts downloading

EDIT: times out after a few mins and say attention required

My ATT 920 tells me it is up to date.

make sure you are still enrolled (box checked) in the preview for developers app. and then you get the update

I have tried it only on WiFi

When I updated to GDR3 preview a few weeks ago, my whatsapp/facebook started doing some crazy with not properly receiving push notifications.

I went back to GDR2 and everything worked again.

Anyone else had the same problem? And is it fixed with the .155 update now?

I haven't update yet. But I am going to try. Lumia 920 is easy to be low power, so I had bought a portable charger.

Depending on how much space you have free, it may take a while. Definitely make sure the 920 is plugged in to the charger,

Any information about battery consumption? i upgraded yesterday, and with same usage, been of charger for 5H 30m, and i consumed about 40%. but ill update this when it dies.

Battery life hasn't changed drastically.

Battery life is the same, although the OS seems to move smoother. Just a bug update I think.

IDK if this was a bug before this new update, GDR3, or GDR2, but when I try to choose certain photos as my background I just get re-directed to the lock screen setting menu, with the picture not being my lockscreen image (from the background pictures Microsoft installed on Windows Phone). This doesn't deem hard reset worthy, but idk if this was introduced with this update or was present before...
