Lumia 920 Redstone builds rollback error

Hi there,

I've been running WM10 Redstone Build 14361 on my Lumia 920 via Unlock for a while. Now I would like to roll back to stock WP8.1 due to bad performance and massive battery drain.

Unfortunately the usual rollback via Windows Device Recovery Tool is not working. The device just keeps rebooting two or three times until the tool says rollback not succesful.

Already tried a hard reset, but didn't help, now I even cannot sideload the CustomPFD to check on the registry anymore.

And help or advice would be great!

Try WDRT in flash mode. I'm not sure why your phone is restarting. Probably some problems caused by you changing the device ID.

Update: I have no idea why, but tried another PC and the rollback worked straight away.

maybe your pc had the wrong file for installing 8.1 while in the other pc you got the correct version
