I went to Yorkdale Mall today, and bought the phone from Rogers outright for 599.99. Just took a little sweet talking is all.

lol no need to sweet talk! It has always been available at Rogers for $599. People still chose the month to month option because of a slight saving ($549 plus 1 month at $27, cancelled immediately)

Nope, but the manager or assistant manager came up to me and tried their hardest to not let me walk out without a monthly plan.

Oh I know they'll try their best to persuade/pressure you, but just point to the placard by the phone. I should know, I visited the same store and showed them the sign. When they gave me attitude, I just walked away and bought from the MS store instead.

...Well when I went to Rogers they told me L920 is out of stock straight up without really caring much and told me to buy it from MS store.
