Lumia 920 w/ Simple Mobile 4G?

I currently have an HTC Radar 4g(WIN 7.8) on a simple mobile prepaid plan for $40 a month where I happily get 4g speed at a low price (I am almost 100% positive that simple mobile runs on the T-mobile network). I want to upgrade to an unlocked 920, will I continue to get 4g speeds?

(925 is out of my budget)

Not unless you're in a refarmed T-Mobile area in which you'll get no more than 3G speeds. Otherwise you're stuck on 2G because the 920 doesn't support T-Mobile's 4G frequencies. (Simple Mobile runs on T-Mobile's network)

Aww that sucks, I just read a thread on one of these forums where people with the Lumia 900 were able to get LTE on the T-mobile network. Can anyone confirm that this would work for the 920?

^^ as mentioned above, only in refarmed areas. Check airportal.de to see if if the area you live in has been refarmed.

Thanks for the site, it seems there are some parts of my area that have been refarmed while others have not. I really want 4g speeds and a new Windows 8 Phone, anyone have any suggestions or alternatives?

I currently use a Lumia 920 from Rogers CA on T-Mobile US. The Rogers version has the AWS band to support T-Mobile 4G and LTE frequencies and hence I get both, even if the area is not refarmed. The best option you have right now is the Lumia 925, then the HTC 8X, Lumia 810, Lumia 521.

Then go with T-mobile and the 925 if looking for high end and a 521 for the low end.
