Lumia 925 dead pixel and screen bleed.

My 925 developed screen bleeding and a dead pixel out of the blue few days back. The bleed is slowly spreading and I'll be sending it for warranty once I get home since I'm overseas right now. Would like to find out if it's just the LCD/digitizer being replaced, will any of my applications and data on the phone be affected? Such as WhatsApp, Notes, People, messages etc.. Also what are the means to backup my phone and restore it back to how it was exactly before the repair is made? Appreciate any help. Thank you!

What kind of screen bleed do you have? The 925 doesnt have an LCD screen, its OLED so there is no backlight.

Oh my bad. Part of the screen got darker with a little purplish colour and it's been slowly spreading. Now some parts of the screen show a burnt image of the previous screen I've been on previously.

I am facing the same kind of problem. It is clearly visible when you activate night mode on. The color of the Text in night mode make its very clear. I may be wrong in metioning it as Pixel Bleed. but same thing is their on my phone....

I had this recently on a different model Nokia.

The phone went back to Nokia US for repairs (under warranty)
