Lumia 925 on Verizon?

Hi. I currently have an 8X and I'm getting fed up with Verizon's GDR2 fail patch that broke our texting. I'm thinking about picking up a lumia for cheap on craigslist. I'd like to get a 925 over the 928, but I'm not sure if it supports Verizon. Does anybody know if it does and how I would go about getting one to work if it does?

Initial research seems to suggest it won't work... but I figure it's worth asking!

Not an expert however the whole CDMA (Verizon's network) vs GSM (AT&T's network) will probably prevent you from bringing the 925 to Big Red. Sorry. Maybe wait for that 929 or leave for AT&T?

Nah, I'm stuck on a contract for another year, and I don't have the money to buy a 929 outright. I might just get a 928, but thanks for answering!
