Lumia 930 Denim Thread

You haven't got Denim, as rolling into DP isn't getting you Denim earlier, in fact maybe even later. If it showed Denim, that is only because of the bug where extra's & Info says your on Denim if you uncheck the enrollment in the Preview for Developers app. You can confirm this by rechecking the box and look if it now says Cyan again.

Anyways, you can rollback to your original OS and Firmware with the Lumia Software Recovery Tool on your PC. It is really self explanatory so good luck!

No. Factory Reset only delete all data and after that you still keep your latest firmware and OS. If you join Preview for Developers before your OS will still on PfD version. But Lumia Software Recovery Tool will download latest stable firmware and OS to flash it to your phone, not PfD version.

Damn, I tried to flash my phone. I followed the instructions and everything seemed smooth and nice, I got the red screen with the NOKIA text but right after that a message pop saying "Signed FFU programming operation has failed with error code: 262161". I tried to do everything from the beginning but I can not becuse my phone does not switch on anymore. Any idea? Have I just totally bricked my phone?

There is a button on LSRT to wake a dead phone. I also read an article on the software on this site about it and in the comments a guy said he recovered a bricked phone with it. You sure you have the Lumia software? I have version 5.0 from Microsoft website and that button is there.

Your using the wrong software. You need the "Lumia Software Recovery Tool" not the Nokia one. THe Lumia one is a rebranded Nokia tool that Mcrosoft released for Lumias.

Just type "Lumia Software Recovery Tool" into google and click on first link. Then link to download is half way down that page. Trust me!

Thank you, Geo147, I tried LSRT 5.0 too and unfortunately it stops at "Waiting for phone connection..." step and it does not see my phone. After unsuccessful attempts to connect it requires me to hold down the power + volume down keys until the phone vibrates but as I wrote my phone shows no life signs at all. I can push those buttons forever and nothing happens.

That's a nightmare dude. I only got the Lumia at Christmas so hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge chimes in.
Why don't you try microsoft support. Maybe they could assist in some way?
I would keep trying the LSRT a few more times though as its supposed to do that. What phone you got, Lumia?

I wouldnt be able to do that as they (O2) don't sell the 930 anymore. Got one of the very last. No problem for assistance, pity it didn't work though. Best of luck returning it
