LUMIA 930 Video problem

Hi there! I just wanted to ask if any of you experiences video lagging while watching HD movies whether streaming or saved video files. I noticed that 720p and above resolutions make my 930 lagged. Is this a common problem? Is there a solution for this? If yes, how? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. :wink:

There must be some temporary issue in your device. try a hard reset.

What are you using to play the videos? Maybe worth trying a different app to see if that is the problem.

I'm using the default video player from the phone when playing saved files. No video player apps installed. Also I'm using the internet explorer for the youtube.

Am able to play even 1080p video with 5.1 both recorded from camera as well as stored from external source without any issues. So it must be something to do with codec support or bitrate of the video you are trying to play

Can I ask how you play your videos in 5.1, I gave a home entertainment system but can't work out how to get video to play in 5 l 1?

Install "Lumia Play to" app and then you will be able to stream the 1080p video via DLNA if your 5.1 system supports DLNA and both your 5.1 system and phone connected to the same network at home.

VLC is getting better and better with recent updates. Try that as well to play the videos, it might work well for you.
