Lumia 930 whatsapp & Skype video calls my voice not working

Problem happened I'm fairly sure after an update a couple months ago.
Voice calls work fine, voice calls over WhatsApp and skype work fine but if I make or accept a video call i can see and hear the other person. They can see me but not hear me.

Is there any way to fix this please?
Very frustrating.

Make sure your phone mic is working.
Just record your voice with Voice Recorder app.
- if the problem still occurs, then post it via reply

You're right the mic doesn't seem to be working anymore.
Just tried to record a test but there was no sound for this either :-(
