I'll fix my original statement. If you live in my state, Illinois, you need to pay taxes on it regardless. My bad!

It still depends on where you live. If you are in a state with a state income tax, you may be legally required to pay taxes on it. I don't know about all states, but the ones I've lived in that have a state income tax also have had laws requiring that you pay taxes on all products bought online or through mail order that come into the state. That's why Amazon sends me a summary statement this time of year telling me how many dollars I spent in 2015 - so I can report it on my tax form.
I'm sure lots of people ignore that law and never pay, but it could come back to bite them if they are ever audited.
Back on topic, with just a bit more price drop, I could be very tempted to pick up an XL.
