Lumia 950 XL freezing on lock screen

My Lumia 950 XL began acting strange. Yesterday my phone froze when it started ringing. And today when I tried to unlock it, it froze again and there was only black screen with only one 1/4 of lock screen picture. Phone was unresponsive but soft reset solved this. I am on latest production build .189.

If this happens again, don't bother and just do a factory reset. Reason being, I believe I saw elsewhere that there is a thread (cant recall the site....maybe winpowerusers). This bug tends to reappear on that build oddly for some.

Fresh reset takes care of it ...it seems.

i hav tap to wake activated. it takes atleast 4 sec to get lock screen from blank screen.i thot it didnt registermy knock at first but it seems after knockif u wait a couple of sec lockscreen comes nd i can swipe nd go aboutthings
this lag is damn annoying

Have the same occasionally on my 730. It's one of the million bugs of W10M. After a minute or so you can use your phone again.

Don't do a hard reset. It will cost you half a day of work and fiddling, and the W10M bugs don't go away.
