Lumia Cyan Update is available for Indian users

Right now i checked phone software update and it shows me that new update is available, now i am downloading it hopefully cyan for lumia 520 started roll out in india.

Have you downloaded the cyan update? I am also using Lumia 520 and I have 8.1 update 1 preview. I didn't get the update yet. Can you confirm me if you have downloaded the cyan. So that I will downgrade and will update to cyan.

The first update is small that prepares your phone to get cyan. The actual Cyan update is after that which is huge !

It means first the stability update and after its completion directly comes the main update
No two days or hours. Just a few minutes gap

it almost takes 20-30 minutes to complete depend on your network speed.

Once your phone finishes with the first update, go to settings --> phone update --> check for update and cyan will start downloading. :smile:

You wont get the update bcoz you are on Dev Preview. Microsoft has halted official updates for all devices enrolled in the Dev Preview because of a Bitlocker issue. They haven't fixed it yet.

You either have to wait or you can downgrade to WP8+Black and then you will have the official WP8.1+Cyan update on your phone.

Downgrade back to WP8 only then your phone will allow you to install Cyan. Or else keep waiting for a fix from MS for dev preview which will allow you to install Cyan.

I would definitely suggest a downgrade if you are really eager to get the firmware.

I decide to wait as cyan update has nothing new for my phone. Also my phone is working pretty well.
