i am on cyan and with the 8.1 gdr1 preview and did not see any update.

Was this the Black update to Cyan?

I remember when I upgraded to 8.1 Update 1 there was a small update some days later. Perhaps you've got this update now too. Could you check your firmware?

Nope. I had a tiny white spot. Had it replaced under warranty. No problem.

Nope its a great handset. The White spot was not al that bad and you could only see it on lite backgrounds. You really had to look for it. But i have warranty so why not use it. They picked it up from my doorstep and exactly seven days later they brought it back.
Overall its a great device and certainly worth the money.
Its not a common issue. And it could happen to anny phone.
And i am not that careful with it, its a tool and i use it as such.
But its stil in one piece.
Maybe lucky who knows.

I have this set now for about 6 months give or take.
The only known issue is the heat.....its a little hotheaded but that's no problem. Because most of the electronic is placed on top of the phone.
So it gets a little hot when you pushes the phone in to hard work.
I believe its one of the best low budget phones around.

No I have had mines for about 3 months now and haven't had any problems and from Tuesday I have upgraded to Update 8.1 and am loving my phone even more.

Totally agree with you. I heard the the heating problem is supposed to be solved with the Update when I have tested/played with it more I will report if I still notice it or not.

You may just try using the other regions firmware. just make sure you got the same model right.. Do you have RM-994?

Yes, im rm-994. But the phone still up to date when i check for update.

Thank you for your suggestion. But as much as possible I don't want to flash my phone because i will lose all my save games and other stuffs. I am waiting for the cyan to be rolled out but it seems that I will be waiting forever.
