I'd get that for my brother but Cricket doesn't have a great reputation in my area. I just wish that Verizon would offer the latest Lumias. Only thing keeping me from the 950.

But this offer sure is tempting!

The 650 is a decent phone. Owned mine now for about 3 weeks. Wanted to get one as it may be the last of the Lumias. Not as quick as the 950 I had, but not bad at all considering its a budget phone.

Talk, text, web browsing and some video watching is all I need really. Plus the maps work well. I do a lot of driving.
I say go for the 650, it's a solid well made phone.
