Sparkie, what's with the Magic Realms: Elite edition?
Everybody would've got a mail about this, but the updated game is not available in WP.

Anybody got this elite edition?

I'm in the same boat as you. I read the comments but others haven't seen it either. I couldn't find it in the windows store. I guess MR had a premature announcement

MR: Elite edition is a separate game, not the update to the current MR.
I wonder why there are 2 versions of MR under different devs.

I installed the Elite Edition. It still starts with the "Time 2 Play" splash screen so it is made by the same company. I logged in with my Magic Realms username and it has all my info, progress and everything from MR.

I poked around a bit and didn't see anything different jump out at me so I'm not sure what the differences are yet. Maybe something about the updates and fixes they made required a new game instead of an update?

ETA:
I did find ONE thing... They changed the Live Tile :winktongue:

So I installed it and logged onto my account just fine. Everything seems current and up to date.... I'm not missing anything

I noticed a change in the freeze spells. The card affected has... Less ice

I've installed the MR:EE, but got a problem now. Since i've used Quicklogin to create my username in MR, i can't get into MR:EE as it says "username already exists", when i type the same username (Vectron) in Quicklogin of MR:EE. So, continuing the gameplay with MR.

Btw, Therapod is year-old-card 4* card from Elemental kingdoms and it came to MR now that too as fragments.

I don't find this card worthy enough to get.

On other hand, Thunder dragon is a lot lot better than the event cards.

I asked there too.

I read somewhere in EK forums that an user registered using Quicklogin and progressed much with ingame purchases. When he/she tried to login in EK on another device, he/she can't. He/she contacted the devs explaining the problem, and the devs created an user account with the same name and provided him/her to login on another device.

Apart from live tile, what's new in Elite edition?
From chat in MR, i learnt that chat in MR:EE is broke. Is it?

Also as a reward, now i see a "Fire demon" for the people who reached lvl.70. It wasn't there already.

Btw, we are 200,000 more to clan up to level 8.

Yeah, they're are some bugs on the new client. I go back and forth lol. I've gotten kicked off some crucial battles during w tree so I'm sticking to original content for now

Speaking of world tree... Do you guys happen to know what time they reset the cool down timers?

Easy gems (300) today for me, thanks to my mate sparkie.

I saw a thief ( lvl-89 guess) explored by Sparkiekun with only the HP of 1000+ left with end time as 5 minutes (when i saw by 08-27-2014: 11.55 PST). I was puzzled, if someone will defeat it, as the thief just left with 1000+.

I prayed for none to defeat the thief and waited for the 5 minutes, so the timer gets reset after 12. As soon as i saw 08-28-2014: 00.05 PST, i attacked the thief and defeated him.

Profit = 300 gems.

Moral of the story:
All good things come to those, who wait. :lol:

Speaking of world tree... Do you guys happen to know what time they reset the cool down timers?

As soon as you complete all the 5-leaves (on the top) in WT, it will show the cooldown timer. Is there something else, you asking?

Lol yeah I meant something different, but I figured it out! In WT, the event resets at a certain time. So I was asking this to be efficient. If I spend gems on CD 30 min prior and my CD is 8:00:00+ after I finish my set, no fear because in 30 min, it'll go back to 0:00:00 and I can get another set of 5 leaves (;
I also have another trick to boost ranks (;

I'm in the top 200 for now... Going for that prize (;

I actually have a second 'registered' account for days I can't get any thieves. I set him up with low attack, explore like crazy to find a thief just for activation and waboom, easy 300 gems. Although, I have a pretty awesome thief deck of you guys would like to know (; I'll PM you of course

I'm lv 49 now and my thief is still at 34 =))
I do have a quick start acc back when I f?rt started this game, probably go with it in case the thief get too tough.

Btw, any advice for a thief deck at my lv, sparkie?

Sure tell me what you have. And late game, they will get tough. You won't be able to one shot when they're lvl 80+ But that's what friends are for

You explore the completed levels to find a thief, and defeat him with your primary deck.
What exactly is thief deck?

Bought 2 booster packs for the friday event to try my luck and to get 300 gems back.
Finally i got lucky today to get 1 Taiga general and 1 Necromancer along with usual 2*-3* cards from the packs.

I never ever found a thief, above lvl 20+. So i only defeat the thief explored by others.
Same happened for Hydra event - I only explored Hydra I and Hydra II.
