So just upgrade to Windows 10, and now the mail app icon doesn't show how many unread emails I have anymore (Used to on WFM 8.1). All notifications are turned on, is there a hidden setting somewhere, or has this feature been removed?
I really hope not...

Yes, the mails arrive, and are in the notification centre, but the app tile never updates to show how many unread emails I have, and the lock screen doesnt show any unread emails either..

can you share the screen shot of settings->notifications->google account
show banner alert is marked or not

There is no google account - this is an Exchange account using the outlook app
Banner Alerts are ticked and work, it is the tile and lock screen that don't update.

Fixed - Solution?
Remove Live Tile from app screen and then Re-Add
In Lock screen notifications, remove Outlook Mail from there and re-add.
I think it was looking at the 'Old' version of the app, not the updated version.
