Major issues with the 1520! Very sad :( Is it dead?

Hello Everyone,

Over the last few months now I have been having more and more issues with the 1520. I get the critical battery then shut own at any battery percentage. That's even if I can use the phone. Seconds after I turn on the phone the search and home button keeps acknowledges some random touches and commands. This is with Windows 8, 8.1 and windows 10 preview. Done everything I know how.

Anyone else having this same problems?

Try replacing the battery? There was a thread in the last week about someone with your symptoms and that fixed it.

I have the same issue, I think Windows 10 ****s up our batteries or something

Thanks guys for such a quick and correct response. Yeah gotta be the battery. I think it's my fault though. All happened after I purchased a thin case and had to flex the phone some, maybe too much for the battery.

I had the battery issue, replaced the battery, problem solved. Now a few weeks later my phone has developed the phantom touches/search launching. Anyone have any ideas?
