Mama I'm coming home....

lol I love my focus rev 1.4 still using it , never had a problem with it! cant say that for any of the Nokia. from what im seeing aside from the good looking phone case its nothing but problems from them.

That's not a true reflection of the 900 at all. Yes people have problems but many people don't have any issues at all. People just expect too much from the hype around the 900. If you base your expectations in reality the issues with the 900 are for the most part very minor.

Still though, I never had issue one with my Focus. Such an amazing phone!

Exactly.

The L900 had some bugs at launch, which is normal for any new phone, even the iPhone4 had the antenna bug and Apple has arguably the best QC in the industry.

The issues the L900 has had are being blown way out of proportion and seem much more prevalent than they actually are because:

A.) The Lumia is selling by the millions, it's simple statistics. More phones, more phones with problems. More people to post on forums about their problems. So many more people that they quickly dwarf the users of any other Windows Phone.

B.) The media has turned the Lumia 900 into a melodramatic "make or break" product for Nokia and vacillates wildly from praising it to condemning it. The blogosphere is so bipolar and hyperbolic about this phone it's ridiculous. So there are unreasonable expectations and an unusual amount of attention and scrutiny.

C.) The iPhone is probably the only other phone to be scrutinized and obsessed about as throughly and unlike the iPhone, the Lumia did not get an automatic "pass" and the loving adoration of most of the tech press. Most were skeptical or waiting for it to fail or pick it apart compared to their beloved iPhone. The Lumia is kind of chic and fashion conscious in a way that no other phone has really pulled off since the iPhone -- that's flying the face of God to iPhone devotees, so consciously or subconsciously they see it as a threat to the iPhone's status as the "hippest" phone to have and they want to undermine it.

D.) EVERY phone has problems. The most relevant thing is how the manufacturer and the carriers/retailers RESPOND to those problems. Most of us are used to OEMs making us wait months and months for software patches and updates, or outright denying that a problem exists (the iPhone antenna issue) until complaints reach a fever pitch and their hand is forced. CONTRAST THAT with Nokia's response to the few issues with the Lumia 900. I challenge anyone to show me another phone maker who has done 1/2 as good a job as Nokia has in responding to their customers here. A data bug which I didn't even experience was fixed within A WEEK of it being discovered, and we all got a full REFUND of our purchase price for the inconvenience, which most of us never ever had. Nokia has exchanged tons of phones, no questions asked, even for dubious complaints like "the screen clicks a little bit when I squeeze the upper right corner of the glass"

No one can match the quickness, thoroughness and quality of Nokia's customer support in all this. Not even close. That counts for quite a bit in my book.
