Mango and WiFi

I have wi-fi set to on continuously and it does not shut down. If I turn the phone off, the wi-fi reconnects automatically along with 3G. I have a V1.3 non-mango Samsung Focus. I have 2 extra batteries and don't worry about battery life, but just having wi-fi turned on doesn't seem to affect battery life -at least not significantly.

Does anyone know if mango allows you to set static IPs?

how about setting manual IP?

Does mango allow it?

Can't set manual IP with Nodo, which I think is very stupid.
