Manually Restoring a backup

Hey there,

Is there a way to restore a backup at any point in time?

I don't mean right after a hard reset where it detects that you have a backup. I did a hard reset installed a bunch of Preview for Developers Updates and now want to bring back all my settings and apps. I see the backup file in my OneDrive, but can't seem to find a way to install it.

Is that not possible?

If you restore from a backup, it will overwrite the whole device anyway. So, the obvious way is to do a hard reset and then restore from the desired backup.

AFAIK you can only restore after a hard update when it prompts you.
