memory card problem

I transferred some music, videos, pictures to memory card. But in the storage sense it is showing as other files. Why?

I'm waiting for the past four to five hours and there was nothing. In using a SanDisk 16gb class 10 ultra and on windows phone 8.1

Did you try rebooting your phone? I know it sounds silly. But if it still won't work, try a soft reset.

I did a soft reset but it didn't work. Please someone tell me a valid fix. Dying for it

Same problem here on my Lumia 720 with 32gb SanDisk class 10
Even after 6 days storage sense detecting as others..

Yes there were folders like pictures, videos, music etc

Try other memory card if it works fine then something is wrong with your memory card.

I also have a SanDisk 32gb class 10 ultra SD card I was also having this issue but later on I formated my SD card and copy all the data again and the issue was solved

Try other memory card if it works fine then something is wrong with your memory card.

One day ago my old memory card was working fine but today when i tried to see what happens with the old card or showed the same that is all data are accumulated in others. Will a hatred reset solve it ?

Try copying the files in respective folders like songs in music folders and movies in video folder... Ot may also happen if the file format is not supported by the phone...eg. Mkv
