memory card problems

I have tried 3 micro sd cards,all working in old phone and none are regognised,tried to format but cant as not there to format. really need to increase memory for music.help,driving me mad!

If you go to settings->phone storage->click on sd card ? do you not have a option to format sd card at bottom of screen ?

no because there is no storage to format,that is my problem,whichever card i put in it still says no sd card

Have you tried to format the sdcard via pc if possible?

I have a Class 2 in my 1520. Use your PC to format the card to FAT32 file system. I would recommend SD Formatter to do the initial format, then format again when in your phone. Good luck!!!!
