Memory out of box?

I am looking at this and am probably going to pull the trigger on it but curious on what the out box storage is? Either 32gb or 64gb ...sorry if this has been asked! Thanks!!!

The OS and formatting normally takes away ~20+ GB of internal storage.
32GB - ~10GB
64GB - ~40GB

The figures are never that evenly ddistributed On my 64GB Dell 8 Pro ir starts out with about 41GB, the 32GB had about 14GB.

No, the 32GB model has 14GB free even after all updates are installed.

I had to err on the safe side.

Besides, if you look at the tilde before the numbers I posted, that means it's a rough estimate. 14 ~ 10. I didn't have a calculator with me, but I did the best I can.

Remember, these are numbers that probably don't factor in the 8GB recovery partition. Because of this, the 32GB model actually is a 40GB unit. So if you do your recovery on a USB, then that frees up the additional drive space...

I read on another forum that that's not necessarily the case with the 32GB. What they did with it is have a separate 8GB recovery chip that's read only on the 32GB, but on the 64gb they actually did it as a partition.

That's interesting. I'm not pressed for space right now, as I monitor my space well overall on my 64GB model and I immediately bought a 64GB SD card that has all my media on it. I may though try to remove that partition and do a USB recovery stick just to free up the space eventually.
