I find the message thread sort order confusing. See screenshot

I would like to see most recent messages first. In the screenshot there is a message thred from 02-06 followed by some from the last week. I would like to see the latest messages in strict date/time order. Any insight would be appreciated.

I agree, most recent articles or posts should be displayed first. Looks to be based on most recent comments - not the best way to do it. I scroll forever looking for NEW posts.

Are you sure that first thread is not from today? I'm in US, but I use region+language United Kingdom, so my date format is dd/mm instead of mm/dd.

@Laura Post#3: There are some dates above the 02-06 such as 02-07, 02-08,02-10 , so it can't be today's date (I chose a bad exaple by co-incidence)

Gotcha! Obviously it's not region + language then.

Hopefully someone else has a better suggestion.

It just happened once in February or it happens often? Do you delete single messages out of threads often? Or, are there just a bunch of messages from February at the top of your list?

Mine is always sorted with the most recent message / thread at the top.

Hi, Mine were all ok until yesterday when I accidentally dropped my phone and the battery came out. Now I get a text message tone and the summary tells me that I've received a text message but then I have to search for it. I've found the messages totally out of order amongst past messages. I've tried looking in settings etc, restarting the phone, taking the battery out and retrying etc but nothing seems to work.
