Messaging experience on 10581: Make it better

Phone in question is lumia 640 xl dual sim.

Are there any suggestions on what to do to improve the messaging experience? I really don't want to downgrade back to windows 10. But i swear every build i upgrade to, everything works mostly fine except messaging.



1. Skype messages don't even come in half the time as they should



2. Normal text is slow. It takes like 10-20 seconds to open and another 5 for the message to appear when you click a thread



3. It also takes ages for the messages to update when you send a message. It'll still show an unread message for about 20 seconds.



This is annoying and I get that it is a preview but i seem to be the only one having this issue and having to begrudgingly return to 8.1 when i want to stay on 10.

Any tips would be welcomed!

I had the same problem and after a quick search it seems turning off "sync across devices" within the messaging settings seems to fix this. I like my skype messages synchronized, but I much rather have the faster performance.
